Peter Fenelon Collier, 1893. Copiously illustrated with elegant pen and ink and wood engravings, specially drawn for this edition by eminent French and American artists.
Good. Pages are clean and unmarked. Publisher's spray to all three edges of pages. Two volumes have loosening hinges and the rest of the volumes have cracked hinges to varying degrees. Volume VI has the loosest binding and some pages are starting to detach. Gilt decoration and title on front boards still bright and shiny. Gilt along the spines is largely faded. Boards have rubbing and tears around spine edges. Two volumes have significant bumps along the back board fore-edge.
