Book: Very good. Dust jacket: None. Gilt design and lettering to front cover and spine. Some rubbing to faces of covers and rubbing/mild fraying to edges and corners. Personal library embossed stamp on all front endpapers. Corner bumps. Binding string is visible in many gutters, especially at the beginning and ends of books. Rear hinge of Volume 8 is cracked, but all pages remain attached. Tanning pages with very sparse marks in pencil, mostly limited to the margins. Pages 688 & 689 of Vol. 4 are stuck together near gutter with mild tears.
