Ampersand Associates, 1987. The essential companion to Umberto Eco's historical fiction masterpiece, The Name of the Rose. The authors of this volume aim to clear up any misunderstandings and attempt to demystify many of the esoteric and intricate passages within the book. They also translate any foreign language references and attribute sources.
Good. Mild shelf wear around the edges with creases, small tears and bumps to corners and spine ends. Spine is straight. All pages are clean and unmarked. Binding weakening a bit near front of book with bottom 1/4 or so of first several pages separated from binding.
