David McKay, no date given. Assumed printed circa 1915. Golden Books edition, illustrated by Charles Folkard with 8 full-page color plates and black-and-white images throughout.
Book: Near fine. Dust jacket: Good. Original green cloth, pictorial paste-on with large gilt border, gilt-lettered spine. In original color pictorial dust jacket with same illustration on front panel. Green pictorial endpapers. Jacket is protected in mylar and intact aside from a tear at the spinal edge of the front cover and other scuffing and dings. Boards are solid, the spine is square, binding is firm and the pages are bright, crisp, and unmarked aside from small previous owner's name on front endpaper. A beautiful copy, quite difficult to find in such an intact dust jacket.
