Charles Scribner's Sons, 1907. Assumed to be a later printing of this, the first edition as there is no date on title page. Covers several stages of early philosophy from the Milesian School to Pythagorean Philosophy to Plato, Aristotle and many others.
Book: Good. Dust jacket: None. Faint liquid mark to front cover, otherwise boards remain quite clean though with some wear around the edges. Corners and spine ends bumped, softened and mildly fraying. Both hinges cracked. Previous owner's inscription on front endpaper and some very sparse markings in margins of text, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. Smells faintly of smoke.
