Very good. Pages are unmarked except for two separate previous owners' names on front endpapers. Nice shiny gilt top edge to pages. Binding is cracked and one of the pictures has come loose. Spine has a slight lean. Board colors, including gilt, are slightly faded and rubbed. Some staining on front board and spine. Corners of boards have less damage than typical for a book of this age. Spine ends are fraying slightly.
