E.P. Dutton & Company, 1946. First edition, ex-library copy.

Here we have Nin’s first novel in her five volume “continuous novel” in which she begins to explore the lives of four women and their interconnected stories — the inspiration for which she pulled from her later published journals. Nin’s writing is deep, revelatory, and erotic; a true feminist icon. Her worked paved the way for female written erotica in the west and the solidified herself as a master of the craft, often being called one of best and finest writers of in the genre.

The only acceptable ex to be in a relationship with is an ex-library copy; you can quote us on that one.

Book: Good. Dust jacket: Acceptable. Former library copy with date stamps on front endpaper, but no other library indications. Previous owner's name on front endpaper and note on dedication page. All other pages are clean and unmarked. Jacket protected in archival cover, but has a large chunk missing at spine head and on front and back covers. Age toning and light scuffing to jacket edges and corners. Some rubbing to lettering on spine, but does not affect legibility. Binding is firm and square. Deckled fore-edge.
