Book: Good. Dust jacket: None. Pages are unmarked. Gilt top stains are lightly faded. Some red staining and/or chipping to fore-edges. Bindings are starting to separate or lightly crack throughout most volumes. The Chouans is partially ripped at front hinge. Front and back boards are largely bright with some light staining here and there. Many corners have minor bumps or are bowed inward, all are scuffed, some down to cardboard. Spines are sunned and stained with softened spine ends that are fraying slightly. 6 volumes have rips at top of spine. Gilt lettering on spines still legible with the exception of two spots of separate volumes. Marriage Contract and Conte Drolatiques have water damage to back boards causing them to ripple and bow.
