Author, photographer, lecturer and collector of photographs, Frank George Carpenter (1855-1924) was a writer of standard geography textbooks. His series of books called "Carpenter's World Travels" were extremely popular between 1915 and 1930. Includes eight books: Canada, Alaska, Chile & Argentina, The Panama & The Amazon, Lands of the Caribbean, France to Scandinavia, British Isles & Baltic States, Australia & New Zealand. Boards and spine have a bit of rubbing, some more than others. Bindings are sound. All pages are clean and unmarked. No dust jackets.
