Doubleday & Company, no date given. Book club edition. Edited and updated by Raymond Postgate. Printed between 1949 (first release of this edition) and 1956 when revisions were made. Exact print year unknown.
Book: Very good. Dust jacket: Good. Jackets are rubbed and have chipping and tears around the edges. Boards are straight and clean but with mild shelf wear around the edges. Rear hinge cracked on Vol 1 and front hinge nearly cracked on Vol 2. Previous owner's name stamped on front endpaper of both books, but otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. Topstain of Vol 2 is mottled from water damage.
