Book: Near fine. Dust jacket: None. Bound in three quarter red morocco leather over marbled boards and matching marbled endpapers. Raised spine bands, gilt spine lettering and decoration, top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed. Tissue protected frontis illustrations in sepia tones plus other tissue protected plates. Internally clean and unmarked aside from some scuffed remnants of bookseller's ticket on front endpaper of volume one. Binding and hinges tight and secure.
