Chapman and Hall, 1861-1874. Includes The Interpreter, Tilbury Nogo, Uncle John Vol. 3, and Bones and I. Whyte-Melville was a scottish novelist best known for his hunting and historical romance novels.
Very good. Half bound in leather over marbled paper boards, matching marbled endpapers and edges, and five raised bands on spine. All pages are clean and unmarked, aside from previous owner's bookplates inside front covers, and foxing to the first 4 pages of Bones and I. Binding and hinges are firm. Spines and board corners have chipping and wear to leather.
