Vanity Fair: A Novel Without a Hero (2 Volumes)
The Macmillan Company, 1928.
A very smart looking pair of volumes — straight from the Roaring Twenties! Whether for collecting, or simply decorating, you can’t go wrong with two books beautifully quarter bound in leather; especially for the price.
Good. Quarter bound in green leather and buckram. Gilt detail on spines and gilt top edge. Pages are unmarked, aside from previous owner's stamp inside front covers. Binding has loosened from spine. Significant rubbing and wear to spine and board edges.
"First edition" also means first printing unless otherwise stated.
