Book: Very good. Dust jacket: None. Pages are clean and unmarked with a few small stains on fore-edge of text block. Gilt edging at top of text block is clear. Boards are firm with some frayed areas at edges. Gilt lettering and gilt/color design on front board is clear and unfaded. Spine is square and tight; gilt title lettering on spine is faded but gilt and color design is clear. Previous owners names appear on front endpaper in black and blue ink, and a previous owner's gift tag is affixed to the reverse of the frontispiece. Hinges are intact and secure.
