University of Oklahoma Press, 1961. First edition. This two-volume history of the fur trade in North America from the sixteenth century to the nineteenth century is one of the most important books written about the storied fur trade.
Very good. Profusely illustrated. Pages are bright, clean, and unmarked, and binding is tight. Only markings are crossed out library stamps on first free paper and top edge. Corners are sharp. Spine ends are softened. Slipcase has shelf wear.
