Each plate and corresponding text describes the notable players in the Eight Fairies Festival, a festival held on the third day of the third lunar month in honor of the Goddess Hsi Wang Mu.
Book: Very good. Dust jacket: None. Mild shelf wear around the edges of wooden boards and to text block corners. Small dents to top left corner of back cover. Pastedown endpapers slightly wrinkled and imperfectly set. Rear side paper used for binding partially torn between third and fourth page. All pages are clean and unmarked though slightly tanned.
