Random House, 1954. First edition, but either a third or later printing. Impossible to know for sure because the book was price clipped. Back illustration has partial ear, no cloud, two branches all indicating a later printing.
Book: Very good. Dust jacket: Very good. Jacket protected in new mylar. Previous owner's inscription and name on front paste-down endpaper, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. Slight musty smell to pages, but no signs of any mildew or liquid damage. Faint foxing to top edge, but internally clean. Binding firm and square, but front hinge starting to loosen. Moderate soiling and edge wear to jacket with scuffing and small chips, no major tears. Spine slightly sunned. Moderate edge wear to boards themselves.
