Book: Very good. Dust jacket: Good. Pages are unmarked and have lovely purple top stain. Front hinge is cracked. Staining along both gutters, bottom of spine and pastedowns and first and last free endpapers, possibly due to glue quality. Front bottom corner and back top corner are bumped. Gilt lettering and decoration on front board and spine is clean and crisp. Spine ends have softened slightly. Dust jacket is now protected in mylar, but has chipping and small rips along all edges and corners, including gutters. Previous owner used some tape to hold together larger rips on top front edge and spine.
