Harcourt, Brace & World, 1954. Later (not numbered) printing of this edition illustrated by Joy Batchelor & John Halas. "1.10.63" on copyright page seems to imply the print date, this edition first published in 1954.
Book: Good. Dust jacket: Very good. An ex-library copy with stamp on copyright page and crossed out markings on top edge of text block. Jacket was taped to boards/endpapers with related damage. Remnants and damage from removed lending slip to rear endpaper. Discoloration and shelfwear to boards. Corners and spine ends bumped and worn. Some sparse tan discolored areas to a few pages. Binding remains strong and spine is straight.
