The Decameron, complete in two volumes, is a collection of novellas by the Italian author Giovanni Boccaccio split into one-hundred tales. They are told from the point of view of ten young men and women, hiding in a villa outside Florence, trying to escape the Black Death. Giovanni Boccaccio was an Italian writer and poet who was an important figure during the Renaissance.
Good. Pages are unmarked. Hinges are cracked. Pages and edges are faded and yellowed. Corners are bumped and worn. Board edges and spine ends are very worn, with loose threads and chipping. Spine ends are softened. Boards have some fading and discoloration.
