Justus Naumann, 1891-1902. "Encyclopedia of the Church", contains books 3-7.
Book: Very good. Dust jacket: None. Pages are lightly browned and unmarked except for previous owner's name on title page and one note in pencil in Sutterlin script on a back endpaper in volume VII. All three edges of text block are marbled, but faded on top and fore-edges and brightest on bottom edges. Marbled endpapers are still bright. Foxing on non-marbled prelims. Bindings are largely tight with a few instances of separation starting. Boards are soiled and corners and spine ends are scuffed. Volume 7 has a chip at top of spine. Some staining to boards of each volume. Gilt lettering is distinct and shiny with some scuffing to publisher's name on bottom of spine.
